Book Review

I want to tell you about the book that I have read. In my post a few months ago, I told you about a movie that I ever watched. It was The Maze Runner. That movie was based on a novel with the same title. That novel is a trilogy novel. First, The Maze Runner. Second, The Scorch Trial. Third, The Death Cure. The book that I've read is the second book, The Scorch Trial. 

The Scorch Trials is a 2010 young-adult horror dystopian science fiction novel by James Dashner. A film adaptation was released on September 18, 2015 by 20th Century Fox

I will tell you a brief story in the novel.

The story started when some gladers include Thomas finally got out from the maze. They were sent into a dorm. They also found out that there were a lot of human that had flare infection and there were look so creepy. They were called crank. Other thing that Thomas found out was, there was another maze that consist with girls but there was a boy name Aris. It was maze B. So, Aris position was same as Teresa in maze A. Teresa was with maze B and had a task to kill Thomas. Then, Thomas and his friends called by a man from wicked and he said they should go to a road that already provided for them. It was Flat Trans. So, they went there. When they already reached the end of the road, they felt so hot on thier skin. They found out that the end of the road was a very hot desert. The sun was so close to them. But, they kept walking through that desert. Their destination was a safe heaven. On their way to that place, they got a lot of trials. There were steel ball that suddenly appeared, desert storm that made their body hurt, and a lot of crank that searched their blood. Finally, the arrived at safe heaven but it was only desert. Until finally came a kind of plane that brought them.

For me, this second novel was still as cool as the first novel. But, this novel was more thrilll than the first. The story for me was unpredictable and the plot was great. The language of the novel for me was quite hard because it was translated from english and it can be hard because I never read novel before, this novel was my second novel to read.

CAMPRT (CAMPING EVENT)

   On 20th November, all the 12th grade students joined a camping event. This camping event was held to fulfill 2013 curriculum. This event held until 21st Novemeber. So we started by came to school at 06.30. After all the students came, we started the trip. It took about 3 hours to arrive. When we already arrived, we directly went to the camp area and searched place to build our tent, we built it by ourselves. When we finished buil the tent, we should attend the openinh ceremony. After that, the boy had jum'ah prayer and the girl got some lecture about woman. When it finished, we had lunch. Then we prepare ourselves for the adventure trip. Before we started, each group should made some clues that will be used for games in a post. After we finished, we started the trip. The track was so challenging until it made my shoes became so dirty. We should finished some post to go back to our camp area. The posts are about how to help people for the first time  when he got accideng, post about our five senses, post about break the clue from other grup that already made, post about how to broke the ballon with bamboo, post about how to make map, and post about a prediction of height of a tree. It took almost more than 3 hours to finished that trip because the track was so far and tiryng. When we already arrived, we directly got ready to prepare for made foods. My grup made 'Nasi Uduk Instan" with "abon" and it so delicious. After that me and my classmate prepare for performance in camp fire event. Each class should perform something. My class perform a little drama and a little singing. After all the class finished performing, we directly went back to our tent and slept because all of us already got tired.

   On 21st November, we continued our activity. Started by woke up at 5 and got ready for some exercise. After that, we had a breakfast. Then, we prepared ourselves for games. My class went to 4 post. First, we played games about relay. So, all the people in one grup holding hand to each other and making line. The first person will shake his hands when he got a command to do that and the next person should shake his hand to and so the other until the last person. The last person should ran and took a bottle. The first group, which catch the bottle first, won.

Another games was guessing word, a person from group should demonstrate the written words that was given and it would be guessed by other member of group.

Second post was about how to move a ball without touching it. So, there were 3 person stood on the square that marked by blue rope. That 3 person should took matchsticks and rubberbands that put quite far from the blue rope. When it already taken, other members of group should put matchstick on his mouth and move the rubberbands from first person to the second and so on with the matchstick. After that, there was string that was used by tied it with the rubberbands. There were 4 string to use. So, the rubberbands would get bigger by pull the 4 strings. After the rubberbands got bigger, we could bring the ball to the finish line. Third, we went to water post. On that post, we played relay games again. But, the relay games in this post was used a sponge. So the group should make a line and each members held a sponge. After that, the first person took the water from the bucket and press the sponge to second person, and so on. The last person should press the sponge above the bottle. The fourth post was about ropes. Basically, I didn't really understand the rules about this game and my class also didn't know how to play it. So, we finished that post without know how to play it. After that, we went to the camp area and prepared to go home. We should pack our belongings and built off the tent. Then, we had a photoshoot of 32016. The last thing was closing ceremony. Then, we went to the truck based on classes and we went home.

Make Peace

Means : 

And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend. (Fussilat : 34)

This sentence that I took from Al Quran have meaning  about make peace. Why I said that? because this sentence said if you get something cruel from someone, regret it and pay that with some kindness. So, when you and that person used to be enemy, you and him can be a good friend.

I give an example case. When you get bully by someone because he envy to you, don't ever have a will to revenge him. Just do the good thing to him, like say 'hi' or offer him some help, even though you still get bully keep going share the goodness. That person, who bullied you, will think and change his mind so he can be kind to you and feel so guilty. He will ask your apology and you and him can be good friend.

So, just do kindness to all people even he hate you. That things can make you have a lot of friends and less enemies.

School Life

My school life for me is so tired but also so fun. My school is in SMAN 3 Bandung, which is located in Jalan Belitung and near SMAN 5 Bandung. 

In SMAN 3 Bandung, education is such a big priority. We start our school at 06.30 and in some days we finish our school at 15.00. Although we spend a lot of time in school, the teacher still give us a lot of homeworks. Even though the condition of academy in SMAN 3 Bandung is like that, I joined an organization and an extracuricullar. There were OSIS and KPA (angklung extracurricular). I joined that when I in 11th grade, now I am in 12th grade.

So my school life when I was in 11th grade was full of story and lesson. I often participated in a lot of events as a committee. I could be in quite lot committe in the same time, I became a committee in event a, and also in event b, and in event c. I also in different position on that committee. While I became committee in a lot of event at school, I also should came to practice for angklung concert that KPA held. The practice was really busy so I should manage my time for came to the practice and also became the committee. The most important thing was I should study because it is the main thing that I wanr ro do in SMAN 3 Bandung. In that case, I should manage my time for became teh committe, came to KPA practice, and study. So my 11th grade life was busy but exciting because I didn't get stress when I had to do a lot of things in the same time. I passed through it, happily.

Now, my school life as 12th grade just fill with study for face the exam next year. My daily activity is go to course for take some extra lesson and also face a lot of exam and homeworks to do.

Place In Bandung

I want to tell you about one of the historical place in Bandung. It is my school. SMAN 3 Bandung (3 Senior High School).

SMAN 3 Bandung is located in Belitung Street No. 8 Bandung. Basically, we are in the same adresses with SMAN 5 Bandung. We are in the same building but SMAN 3 Bandung on the west side. Usually the students get in to school from Kalimantan Street. It was on west side.

SMAN 3 Bandung has more or less 32 classroom and quite lot of other rooms like Laboratory, Teachers Room, Vice Headmaster of School Room, Mosque, Canteen (we usually called it as Bazar), some Extracuricular Room, Hall. 

SMAN 3 Bandung has 2 hall, they are old Hall and new Hall. Old hall is a hall that use together with SMAN 5 Bandung but New Hall is a hall that only use by 3 Senior High School. The location of some 3 Senior High School Laboratory is close to SMAN 5 Bandung Laboratory. On the first floor is SMAN 5 Bandung Laboratory and on the second floor is SMAN 3 Bandung Laboratory.

SMAN 3 Bandung has a new place called Taman Baca but the construrion doesn't done yet. 

We also have a place for PE Lesson. It is located in Bali Street (it is neat Belitung Street. We usually call it as Lapbal (Lapangan bali or Bali field). That field uses by SMAN 3 Bandung and SMAN 5 Bandung. The schedule is from monday to wednesday uses by SMAN 5 Bandung and from thursday to saturday uses by SMAN 3 Bandung. The place consist of an indoor place (Bangsal) for do PE lesson that need indoor place and outdoor place which is consist of Basketball field, Football field that surround by running track.

Now, I am in 11th grade. My class is in 11 grade science 4. I used to go to 10 grade science 9 but now my class doesn't exist and it is replaced with accceleration class. SMAN 3 Bandung used to have 1 acceleration class but now become 2 acceleration class.

That's all the little explanation of my school. Here ara some pictures of my school.

PAMAN GOBER

   I want to tell you about one of my school event. It was Paman Gober. It was an event for X and XI grade to ride bicycle together and to plant some plants. Basically, I didn't come but I asked my friends about the event.
   So It was start at 6 am. Basically, it was for the people who wanted to use a bicycle that provided by the committee. Because there were a lot of people got excited to the event, at 6.05 am all the bicycle that were provided already ran out. After that, all the people went to Bangsal. There was an opening event on there. There were some speech from Mr. Encang and the leader of the committee, Winona. After that, all of the participant started they trip with the bicycle. The first class who lead the line was Acceleration 2 class, Acceleration 1 class, social class, 10th grade of science 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 class and last 11th grade class. Lapangan committe guarded in every 50 meters. They started their trip from Lapangan Bali - Sumatra - Lembong. Then, some committee went to Buton to plant some trees. There were only the main committee like Acara. There were also some delegation of each class and some teachers. Back to the participants who rode the bicycle, suddenly the police who guarded them turned to Karapitan and continued to Sunda street, the committee were confused but they got instruction to turn to Baranangsiang. Then continued to Kosambi, then the back line was cut by the train. There was Keamanan committee whose pants were torn. Then the line continued the trip to the street where there were Suis Butcher and Pizza Hut (My friend and I didn't know the name of the street). Then went back to Lapbal. Because there was still at 8.45 am, there were a lot of people wanted to have a breakfast. Since there were a lot of people left from Lapbal, the committee went to 3 Senior High School to search the people. In Lapbal, there was Bebentengan games for all the 10th grade. Then, they got foods. Then, Paman Gober event was finished.
   At 12.30 pm, another event, Dewa Athena, was started.

This song was made because of the feeling of love and care to the people in Gaza beacuse they are underattack of Israel. This song is truly because Michael Heart love to people in Gaza because basically Michael Heart is Christian and the poeple in Gaza all of them are Islam. They lived in condition that are so unsafe. 

So, the summary of this song meaning is if you already love each other, religion, county, culture and many more won't be a matter. You also must be a supporter when somebody is down.

TURBUD (Tur Budaya) 2015

Day 1

On 20th of April 2015, 11th grade of 3  Senior High School went to Bali. Sow, we started our trip in the train station. All the students should be in the station at 4 pm but because I was the comittee so I should be in the stasion at 12 am. 

The departure of train was divided into 2. First train was for class science 6-social and acceleration and the second train was for class science 1-5. My class got the second train and departure at 7 pm. But we should come at 4 pm because before went to the train all the students should take a ticket and the clothes.

My job was strated at 4 pm. When my classmate came to the station, I should make a check in the attendance paper when my classmate came. When it was already at 5.30 there was 2 of my classmates who was not at the station yet. I tried to call them but one of them was very hard to call. But finally both of them came. I was scared because the train could be late to departure if there was a person who wasn't in train yet.

The trip by train started at 7 pm. We all having fun in the train. Most of them played some games and we had a dinner also. After we got tired of playing, all of us slept.

Day 2

On 21st of April 2015, we were still in the train. I woke up in the morning and had a breakfast in the train. We had fried rice for breakfast. A few hours later, we arrived in Surabaya. When we arrived, we directly went to the bus based on the class. After that, we continued our trip to Bali. After spent a lot of time, we stopped in a restaurant to have a lunch. Then, we continued our trip. When it was already at 6 of 7 pm, we stopped again in restaurant for having a dinner. When we already finished, we went to the harbor. We should use a ship so we can crossed from Java to Bali. It only took an hour more or less. When we already landed in Bali, we continued our journey to the capital city of Bali, Denpasar. Almost at 00.00, we arrived in Nirmala Hotel, where we stayed for the next couple days. I was really tired so when I arrived I changed my clothes and slept.  

Day 3

On 22nd of April 2015, it was the first day of my journey in Bali. It was the first day for us to visit some places in Bali.

So I started my day by woke up at 5 am. I was a committee of the event and I got a job to wake up my classmate. So I went to the rooms, where my classmate slept. After that, I took a bath and had a breakfast. Then, we started our trip. 

So, the first place that we visited was Tanjung Benoa. It was a place for did water sports. I wasn't really intersted in water sport so I decided to go to Turtle Island. I used a boat to go there before I arrived in the Island, I got a chance to give some fish food. The fish is so beuatiful. After that, we continued our trip to the Island. When I arrived I took some pictures with the turtle and also some other animals in that Island. When I already done, I got back to the Tanjung Benoa and had a photo session with some of my friends. Then, I just watched a people who played parasailing. After that, I had a lunch. When everybody already finished with their lunch we continued our trip. Based on the scheduled after went to Tanjung Benoa, we went to Pudjamandala for had a pray. But, because there was no parking lot left we continued our trip to another beach in Bali. It was Pandawa Beach. Pandawa Beach is still new and the sand is still so clean and the water still so blue. We had 2 sports tournament on there. First, football. Second, canoe. It was sports tournament between the class. I didn't join both of the tournament. I just played in the shore with my friends and took a lot of pictures. When we already finished, we changed our clothes into almamater clothes. Then, we continued our trip to GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana). It was a statue that if it's already done, the height will beat Liberty statue. When we arrived, we had each class photo session and also our almamater photo session. Beside that, we also watched Kecak Dance Performance. When we already done, we went to Jimbaran for had a dinner. We ate in the beach and ate some seafood. Beside ate, we also watched some live performances like dance, sing. And also, each class got a lampion and we should make it fly. When all the lampions already flied, there was fireworks that made the sky that night so beautiful. When we're done, we went back to the hotel. When arrived, already got to sleep

Day 4

I woke up in the morning and did the same thing that I done yesterday, It was waking up my other friends. After we woke up, we had a breakfast. Then, we went to the bus to continue our trip to a village name "Desa Adat Panglipuran". 

When we arrived, we welcomed by a man. He is not a leader of that village but he a kind of a person who had a job to explain about his village. I forgot his name. Me and my other friends got inside a place where we got informations about "Desa Adat Panglipuran". After that, we had to play games. We divided into 3 gruops, each groups consist of 3/4 classes. My class was in the same groups with scince 3 and acceleration class. We played 3 games. First, move water in glass with a cloth. On that games, my class won. Second, search an area in Bali map based on the question that was given, my class won again. Last, guess a sentences that was given by our friends, whose face was closed by something. In this games my class lose. After we finished, all the games we went back to the bus. We continued our trip to Kintamani to have a lunch. When we arrived, we directly ate lunch, all you can eat on there. After that, I prayed. When I already finished, we went back to the bus. We continued again to Sukowati. At first, all of the students and the teachers went inside Sukowati market for shopping but on that time. Only students or teachers who want to shop, got inside the market. But only in short period time because we should go back to hotel to prepare event at night. When all the people already finished, all of us got back to the hotel.

When it was already night, I prepared for the event. Before got inside the hall, where the event was held, we had a dinner first. When all the 3 Senior High School students already finished have a dinner, the event started. The event was "Makrab 2016 : Malam Keakraban 2016". The event was filled with some extracurricular perfromance, awards giving to the winner of the nominations that 32016 already vote before. The theme of the Makrab was Neon Party. So, we wore a lot of Neon things. When it was already at 12 am, we directly went to our room. But because I was a committee so I had a briefing until at 2 am, after that I slept in my room

Day 5

On 24th of April 2015, it was our last day in Bali. We prepared for checked out before we continued our last trip in Bali. We put our belongings to bus firsr before had a breakfast. After we had a breakfast, we had a second almamater photo session. When we were done, we got to bus and continued out trip to Krisna. Krisna is a famous souvenir store in Bali. When we arrived, we were not directly go to Krisna but we rode a transportation to Kuta Beach. When I already arrived in Kuta Beach, I just had a photo session with some of my friends and after that I went to Joger for shopping. I spent quite a lot of time to buy souvenir for my family. When I already finished, I got back to Krisna and bought some souvenir again. After that, I had a lunch on Krisna and also had a pray. After that, we continued our trip Tanah Lot. It was the last destination in Bali. When we already finished took some pictures in Tanah Lot, we backed to the bus and continued our trip to go back to Surabaya. When it was already at night, we stopped in a restaurant to have a dinner. When we finished, we continud our trip to the harbour to cross from Bali to Java.

When we arrived at the harbour, we got off from the bus and moved to the ship. I rode an executive ship so It  felts so comfortable. When we arrived in Java, we moved back to the bus and continued our trip.

Day 6

When it was already in the morning, we arrived at a restaurant to have a breakfast and took bath session. At 9 am more or less, we continued our trip to have some times go round in Surabaya area. Science class 1-5 went to Sidoarjo to buy some souvenirs. The other class went to Suramadu. After that, my class went to Suramadu and had a lunch in a restaurant near Surabaya. When all of us already finished, we directly went to the train stasion. We should wait until at 7 pm because our train departured at that time. When it was almost at 7 pm, we got ready to go to the train. I rode a business train now, since I already rode an executive one from Bandung to Surabaya. I had a dinner on train. After that, I slept because I was so tired

Day 7

Almost at 10 am, I arrived in Bandung. I was glad that all of us, 32016, arrived safely in Bandung :)

Task

I was absent from LM Inggris class on 27th February 2015 because I had to do a rehearsal for KPA because we will had a concert on 28th March 2015. 

So I started my rehearsal at 2 pm until 5 pm. Basically, the rehearsal finished at 6 pm because I had to go to my course so I asked a permission to left the room first. 

Movie Review

I want to tell you about a movie that I ever watched. It was The Maze Runner.

So, The Maze Runner is a movie about a boy, named Thomas. He was went to a glade. It was an area that surround by a door that lead to The Maze and full of boys. When he arrived, Thomas forgot everything even his name. Time by time, he remember it back. So, the story of the movie is about how Thomas and his friends in Glade get out from there. Before he asked his friend to follow him get out of the glade, get inside The Maze and find the way out, he try to be the runner. But, a lot of people disagree if he became a runner because he just new on there. But, finally he can make it. He help Minho, another runner who already live a long time before Thomas, to break the code so they can get inside the maze and find the way out. A few times the get inside The Maze they found Grievers. It was a monster that live inside The maze. So they must attack Griever before get out from the Maze. Before Thomas came, there were no people can attack griever even kill it. 

After he and Minho already understand about the code of the Maze and found some clue to get out from The Maze, he asked his other friends to follow him. But, there were some people who decided to stay.

After passed a very tired war between the Glade people and the Griever, the found the way out

In my opinion, this is a cool movie. I like the way the story goes and there are some scenes that makes me thrill

Task

On 23 January 2015, I didn't come to LM  Inggris Class because I became a committee of LKO (Latihan Kepengurusan OSIS). I became Lapangan but my jobs is to see the character of each person who join LKO. To see the manner of the person who join LKO. So the agenda of LKO on that day is Technical Meeting. On that day, 32017 who joined LKO got their number tnat will  be used until LKO finished. They also got to know their task for the next LKO meeting and it also the time to choose the leader of the boys and the girls for them. There also a session for the committee of LKO to introduce theirselves as a committee. After it was finished, all the committee made a track for 32017 to pass to the gate near bazaar. LKO was finished. It took a short time because it was only Technical Meeting. It also finished faster than what is written in the rundown. So that's why I couldn't attend LM Inggris class.

The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis), also known as the Komodo monitor, is a large species of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang, and Padar. A member of the monitor lizard family Varanidae, it is the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 metres (10 ft) in rare cases and weighing up to approximately 70 kilograms (150 lb).

Their unusually large size has been attributed to island gigantism, since no other carnivorous animals fill the nicheon the islands where they live. However, recent research suggests the large size of Komodo dragons may be better understood as representative of a relict population of very large varaniflizards that once lived across Indonesia and Australia, most of which, along with other megafauna, died out after the Pleistocene. Fossils very similar to V. komodoensis have been found in Australia dating to greater than 3.8 million years ago, and its body size remained stable on Flores, one of the handful of Indonesian islands where it is currently found, over the last 900,000 years, "a time marked by major faunal turnovers, extinction of the island's megafauna, and the arrival of early hominids by 880 ka [kiloannums]."

As a result of their size, these lizards dominate the ecosystems in which they live. Komodo dragons hunt and ambush prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals. It has been claimed that they have a venomous bite; there are two glands in the lower jaw which secrete several toxic proteins. The biological significance of these proteins is disputed, but the glands have been shown to secrete an anticoagulant. Komodo dragon group behaviour in hunting is exceptional in the reptile world. The diet of big Komodo dragons mainly consists of deer, though they also eat considerable amounts of carrion. Komodo dragons also occasionally attack humans in the area of West Manggarai Regency where they live in Indonesia.

Mating begins between May and August, and the eggs are laid in September. About 20 eggs are deposited in abandoned megapodenests or in a self-dug nesting hole. The eggs are incubated for seven to eight months, hatching in April, when insects are most plentiful. Young Komodo dragons are vulnerable and therefore dwell in trees, safe from predators and cannibalistic adults. They take 8 to 9 years to mature, and are estimated to live up to 30 years.

Komodo dragons were first recorded by Western scientists in 1910. Their large size and fearsome reputation make them popular zoo exhibits. In the wild, their range has contracted due to human activities, and they are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN. They are protected under Indonesian law, and a national park, Komodo National Park, was founded to aid protection efforts.
